Studio Full
- With the use of studio lights, at my home studio, your newborn will be photographed with care and love on a possibility of 3–4 different setups: faux fur, floor or paper backdrops, posing table, and bucket. In addition, family & sibling(s) shots are included. You will receive 30+ high resolution edited images on a thumb drive and an online gallery with printing rights. This session may take 2–4 hours.
Studio Mini
- With the use of studio lights, at my home studio, your newborn will be photographed with care and love on a possibility of 3–4 different setups: faux fur, floor or paper backdrops, posing table, and bucket. Family & sibling(s) shots are NOT included. You will receive 20+ high res edited images on an online gallery with printing rights. This session may take 1–3 hours.
Lifestyle
- With the use of natural light, at your home, your newborn will be photographed with care and love with a variety of different backdrops and scenes, for example: on your bed, snuggling ont he couch, in the nursery, feeding, rocking on a chair, etc. In addition, family & sibling(s) shots are included. You will receive 30+ high resolution edited images on a thumb drive and an online gallery with printing rights. This session may take 2–4 hours.
Maternity Mini
- If you book one of the newborn session options, you can also get this maternity mini add-on at the discounted price. This session lasts 30 minutes, we can go out on location somewhere or do them at your home, or in my studio. You will receive 12 high resolution edited images in an online gallery with printing rights. There will be an option to purchase more images if you choose to do so. I recommend shooting between 28–34 weeks of your pregnancy,
Details
It’s best to photograph the newborn between 5–10 days old, and I only shoot during weekday morning hours, usually around 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 am. Wardrobe, props, location, and all other important details are all discussed ahead of time. A questionnaire is to be filled once the session is booked and on the calendar. Milestones Pricing
Milestone Mini
- 3, 6 or 9 months old. 12 images, online gallery.
- The first year of a child's life is so exciting and constant change. The different stages produce different results. I highly recommend 3 months old (smiling and grabbing toes), 6 months old (sitting up on their own, more smiley), or 9 months old (personalities shine even more, crawling). If I had to choose one, it would be at the 6-month-sitter stage. It's the best!
- Month x Month sessions are 30–40 minute sessions and yield 12 completely edited photos of your choice. You will receive 12 edited images (digital download only), an online gallery, slideshow, and printing rights. You may purchase more images for $15 each or the entire batch for $125. You may purchase a thumb drive for $25.
- These sessions are intended to be in studio using 2 backdrops, however, if an outdoor session is preferred that is fine as well.
Cakesmash
- Cakesmash sessions are up to 1.5 hours and yield approximately 30+ completely edited photos. Sessions include setup and breakdown of the theme and backdrop discussed. Additional portraits on a rustic wood backdrop will also be taken if requested. Decor and cake will be provided by the client unless help is needed. Some props are provided in studio.
- You will receive a thumb drive, an online gallery, slideshow, and printing rights.
- Cakesmash sessions are on weekdays, preferably morning time, but working around the child's nap schedule.
All of the Above
- If you choose to do the 3, 6 and 9 month minis as well as the 1 year cakesmash, it will be discounted to $1,000 instead of $1,150.
Discounts & Fees
All returning clients receive a 10% discount on session fees. Returning clients can also save an additional $10 on full sessions by bringing their past Katie Main Design + Photo thumb drive to the session. I will copy their new edited images on that thumb drive instead of a new one.
A travel fee of $50 for every 30 miles outside of the 21756 zip code will be applied, however we have a plethora of local location suggestions if you’d prefer to avoid this fee.
